what were the federal lands set aside for Native Americans called?
Federal lands shared with indians
They're called reservations. May I say though that in many cases the lands weren't "set aside" by the federal government, they were RESERVED by the American Indians. While we were FORCED to give up most of our lands, we kept parcels of land, hence reservations, saved lands, lands that were ours all along and never 'given' to us.
