found an antique bottle on the banks of white river in indianapolis with the name A REED & C?
the bottle is heavy and has bubbles in the glass is was frosted by being moved around in the sand and is hard to read the color is Aqua thanks also it reads a reed & c indianapolis in
Does it look like any of these? It could be an old medicine bottle, or it might be an old milk bottle. In the 1950's (I think) they experimented with colored milk bottles which were believed to keep the milk from going off better.
You're probably best to post a picture to one of the bottle collectors sites to get an expert opinion.
