I have a kitten that attacks and claws my hands, feet and legs. How should I discipline her?
I have had my kitten for a week, she is 9 weeks old. She repeatedly attacks and claws my hands, feet and legs and sometimes my face. She mostly does it when I am sleeping and wakes me up. I have been telling her no, in a loud and authoritative voice. I also clap my hands or tap her on the forehead. She is clawing me less now but I have a number of scratches on my hands, feet and legs and I can't take anymore scratches. Has anyone else been successful in getting their kitten to stop attacking and clawing them? What methods did you use in disciplining?
oh come on now she's just a kitten, and kittens play! she will eventually grow out of it! cats are hunters and when they are kittens they wrestle, believe me i have a cat his name is taylor, he used to do that but not any more!
