Please, would you help fix my picture?

These are my Husbands White Gold Cufflinks. Can anyone fix the discoloration in my picture? They should look more silver, not red. If you can help, please, post the picture link in your answer. Thank you, so very much!
Well, if that is white gold it should definitely look like silver, but I guess the reflection of the light, the flash and the hand holding it changed the original color. I've played around a little bit in Photoshop and this is what I did:
I had to copy the cufflinks on another layer, though, completely desaturate them and then blend them into the underlying layer using 80% opacity. If I had left them at 100%, the effect would have been too fake -- like a b&w picture glued on top of a color picture. This way the picture looks more natural, but the metal still shows some gold.
