Serena Williams foot fault serve US open?
What part of the serve caused the foot fault? It seemed like a perfectly good serve to me.
You're absolutely right, Sergeant. When they viewed it afterwards it was determined there was no foot fault.
Everyone's getting on Serena's case but some responsibility lies with a very poor call. The Line Judge deserves some of this criticism had she not called it wrong, Serena wouldn't have gone off.
Good Line Judges do not throw penalties out if they're not obvious and because this was determined not to have been a foot fault, it definitely wasn't obvious.
