Can I Sue My Jeweller?
OK. Basically I had a Tiffany sterling Silver Charm bracelet with various lock charms on. I took it to the jewellers to get the charms soldered on as some of them didnt have the 'lock'. I asked for all the charms to be soldered, but when I got the bracelet back they hadnt soldered the 'lock' charms on, so they could be taken on and off, even though I had said to solder all the charms.
About an hour ago, one of my lock Tiffany charms fell off somewhere. I can't find it anywhere as I have been at college all day, and it doesnt appear to be in the lunch hall, house, etc.
SO: can I sue my jeweller for not having done what I asked, even though the charms should have been soldered on? Also, if anyone is selling a silver Tiffany box lock charm for under £90, please let me know.
I did leave the store with it and kept it for several weeks, as I expressed concern about the loose charms but the salesperson assured me that they would be OK.
