All My Sons Tickets- a Famous Show With a Famous Cast
With its all star cast, All My Sons tickets are going to be a hot ticket on Broadway. The stage is set in the United States during World War II. One of two business partners, Joe Keller, knowingly sells faulty airplane parts to the government and pilots die because of his actions. The other partner takes the fall for his actions but the situation is further complicated by the fact that Keller’s son plans to marry his partner’s daughter. The truth eventually comes to light and breaks apart the façade Keller had put in place. The story explores the frailty of the American Dream that was pervasive when the play first came out.
The play was written by famed playwright Arthur Miller. Miller was born and raised in New York City in both Brooklyn and Manhattan. His parents were deeply hurt by the Depression. Miller worked hard to put himself through college t the University of Michigan. He wrote The Man Who Had All the Luck before All My Sons. Other famous plays by Miller are Death of a Salesman and The Crucible. His comments on society were not well received during the area of McCarthyism and Miller was called to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities and convicted for not cooperating. The Broadway cast features a well of famous talent. John Lithgow will play Joe Keller and is no stranger to Broadway with parts in shows like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. He won a Tony Award for both The Changing Room and Sweet Smell of Success. Dianne West plays his wife, Kate Keller. She has won two Academy Awards and been on Broad way in shows like Solitaire/Double Solitaire, Frankenstein and Beyond Therapy. Her film credits include Edward Scissorhands and Independence Day.
Patrick Wilson plays their son, Chris Keller, and has been in productions like Oklahoma!, The Full Monty and Barefoot in the Park. He has also been on the silver screen with films like Little Children and Hard Candy. The beautiful and famous Katie Holmes makes her Broadway debut as the partner’s daughter, Ann Deever. Holmes is well known for her role on TV in Dawson’s Creek as well as films like Barman Begins, Wonder Boys and Mad Money.
