I want my belly button pierced, How old do you have to be?
I'm 12 years old, and my mom has had it done since she was about 18. My sister always wanted her tongue pierced, but she said she had to be 18 and moved out. I want to ask my mom when we go to the beach this summer, but I'm scared. I'm afraid she'll say no, and the same thing she said to my sister, and I'm really self-concious about my self and what i say. I'm afraid it might make the vacation awkward when I'm around her..
And I'll be 13 on the next vacation...
Legally, you have to be 18 if you want to get it done without parental consent.
Otherwise, if you want to get it done any younger you're gonna need your mom to sign a few papers.
