Romantic Dinner? Need opinions!?
My boyfriend has been out of town for a week and is going to be home later tonight. I was planning on cooking a romantic dinner for him and I just wanted some opinions on how I could make it better, or if it will be good. I want him to like it. I am going to cook spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and have strawberries and chocolate pudding for dessert. When he comes into the house there will be rose pedals all over the floor leading to the kitchen table, and rose pedals on the table as well. There will be a bouquet of roses in the middle of the table and there will be candles all around the room. I will be wearing red see-through lingerie with nothing else. Is this good? Do you think he will like it?
I wish you lived near me. I'd bring you a bottle of Maraschino Chocolate Wine - or Mandarin Orange Chocolate Wine - or Chocolate Mead to sip with desert. And some Ginger or Blackberry Wine with the spaghetti would be good.
The only thing I'd add would be a slice of angel food cake with the pudding as a topping, topped by a dollup of whipped cream and the strawberries on top. It's light but makes the desert even more sensual and inviting. He might even want to eat the desert from your navel... hehehe
I have lambswool dusters that I do NOT use for dusting that are excellent to "tickle his fancy" after dinner and dessert.
