info on old music box /cigarette box/ lighter combo?
i have an old silver music box / cigarette box/ lighter combo .
music box part plays ol' my ma ma .
cigarette box part is lined with some type of wood.
the lighter is on the side ,it is a zippo type lighter but looks like the vintage type zippo. it also works .
was told it might be military issued .
on the music box windup it says[ reuge ste-croix]on one side .
on the other side it says [swiss made]
any ifo on how to find out about this item online without having to go to a antique dealer would be greatly appreciated.

Vintage cigarette boxes and paraphernalia is very collectible. If it is military issue that makes it collectible by more than one type of collector and adds to the value. Value can easily be several hundred dollars if you have a good piece. It would really be worth your time to take it to a dealer for an insurance appraisal. Just a word of caution, if your not sure of the dealers reputation, don't offer to sell it to them. Unfortunately there are dealers out there that will offer less than the item is worth to turn a buck. If you are looking to sell get a second opinion.
